Cisco Catalyst IE-3100-8T2S-E is a compact, DIN-rail industrial switch that offers eight Gigabit RJ-45 downlinks and two dedicated Gigabit SFP uplinks in a fan-less, -40 °C to +70 °C hardened chassis. Running Cisco IOS XE with the Network Essentials feature set, it delivers wire-speed Layer-2 switching, static routing, REP/MRP sub-50 ms ring recovery, and Precision Time Protocol (IEEE 1588v2) for deterministic control networks.
