The CW9800H1 is one of the two replacements Cisco names for the C9800-80-K9. The CW9800H1 keeps the same access point and client limits in one rack unit instead of two, with fixed 25G uplinks in place of the module bay. Choose the CW9800H2 instead for a 40G uplink; neither has 100G.
Start with the specifications that decide whether a model fits, whether they differ or not. Each card says if the values are the same.

The CW9800H1 keeps the C9800-80-K9's 6,000 access points and 64,000 clients in one rack unit. Its throughput rises from 80 to 100 Gbps. All eight SFP+ ports take 1G optics, where the C9800-80-K9 limits 1G to two ports.
The CW9800H2, the other replacement Cisco names, has two 40G QSFP ports in place of the four 25G ports and is otherwise identical. Neither model has a 100G port, so a link on the 100G module needs a new design.
Stateful switchover pairs only identical hardware, so replace both units of a C9800-80-K9 pair together. The CW9800H1 needs Cisco IOS XE 17.14.1 or later; confirm the release supports every access point model in service. Both run Wi-Fi 7 access points from 17.15.2.
