Shipping Terms:
Orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered At Place) by default. Import customs clearance, duties, and local taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. If you need DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service, please contact our sales team before placing the order.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges include professional packaging, handling, insurance and transportation. Final freight cost depends on destination, product weight, order value, shipping term and carrier choice.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped. If DDP is requested and supported for the delivery address, the additional DDP cost must be confirmed in writing before payment.

Risk of Loss and Title

Risk of loss and title transfer follow the shipping term confirmed on the quotation or proforma invoice. For DAP and DDP shipments, the handoff point is the agreed destination. For EXW and FOB shipments, the handoff point follows the approved pickup, forwarder or port arrangement.

We package products professionally and provide tracking details or forwarder handoff information after dispatch.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

• The customer is responsible for additional shipping costs
• Carrier address correction fees (if applicable) may apply
• Re-shipment will not occur until additional charges are paid

We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be delivered due to repeated address errors.

International Shipments

For shipments outside China:

• Unless DDP is requested, supported for the delivery address and confirmed with the additional fee in your quotation or proforma invoice, import customs clearance, duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees and local charges are the buyer’s responsibility
• International shipping fees are non-refundable once dispatched
• If a shipment is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, customs refusal or missing import documents, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and carrier fees

We can support accurate packing details, product descriptions and shipping documents when you provide special customs requirements. We comply with applicable export regulations and reserve the right to decline shipments that violate export laws or carrier restrictions.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged:

• Retain all packaging
• Notify the carrier immediately
• Contact us within 2 business days

We will assist with carrier claims. Replacement or credit related to shipping damage will be handled after the carrier investigation is completed.

If tracking indicates a lost shipment, we will file a carrier claim. Resolution is dependent on carrier confirmation.

Shipping Restrictions

• No walk-in pickup or unapproved will-call service
• Customer-arranged pickup, carrier accounts or freight forwarders must be confirmed before payment and are handled under approved EXW or FOB terms
• Certain destinations may be restricted due to export compliance, customs requirements or carrier limitations

Relationship to Other Policies

Returns, refunds, and warranty matters are governed by our Terms of Sale. This Shipping Policy addresses logistics and delivery only.

FAQ

Yes. DAP is the default term for most international orders. EXW and FOB are available when you want to use your own freight forwarder. DDP is not automatic; it is an optional paid service that requires the full delivery address to be checked and approved by sales before payment.

Under DAP, Layer23-Switch arranges delivery to the destination address, while the buyer handles import clearance, duties, VAT, taxes and local charges. Under DDP, if the delivery address is supported and the extra DDP fee is accepted, duties, taxes and customs handling are included in the confirmed quote.

Yes, for approved EXW or FOB shipments. Please provide your forwarder details, pickup requirements and shipping account information before payment so our sales team can confirm the handoff process.

Yes, Layer23-Switch supports drop shipping for registered customers with no additional drop-ship handling fee. We do not include Layer23-Switch promotional materials or invoices in drop shipments.

  1. For fraud prevention, we may verify orders when the shipping address differs from the billing address.
  2. Your customer should contact you first for technical support, returns or warranty coordination.
  3. Please provide any special packing, label or declaration instructions before shipment.

Yes. International courier shipments can be tracked online and may include shipping insurance based on the order value and selected service. If a shipment is damaged or lost, please keep the packaging and contact us quickly so we can assist with the carrier claim.

After dispatch, we send the tracking number, carrier name and tracking website by email. For air cargo, sea freight, EXW or FOB shipments, we provide the relevant handoff or freight document details when available.

Combining multiple items in one order usually lowers the shipping cost per item. For heavier orders, air cargo or sea freight may be more cost-effective than express courier. Tell us your destination, preferred shipping term and delivery deadline, and we can compare practical options.
