C-NIM-1X Description
The Cisco C-NIM-1X is a 1-port 10G/1G SFP+ WAN Network Interface Module designed for Cisco Catalyst 8300 Series routers. It provides high-speed Layer 3 fiber WAN connectivity with a non-oversubscribed 10-Gbps backplane link and hardware-based 256-bit MACsec encryption. Ideal for secure Ethernet WAN, SD-WAN, and high-bandwidth branch uplinks, the C-NIM-1X supports a wide range of Cisco 1G/10G SFP/SFP+ optics and operates as a fully routed WAN port under Cisco IOS XE.
