C-NIM-8M Description
C-NIM-8M is a Cisco Catalyst 8000 Series 8-port mGig RJ-45 LAN/WAN Network Interface Module for Catalyst 8300, Catalyst 8200, and Catalyst 8200L edge platforms, used to add copper LAN/WAN expansion ports to branch router deployments. It provides eight RJ-45 interfaces supporting 100M, 1G, and 2.5G BASE-T, does not support 10M operation, supports IEEE 802.1AE MACsec, and provides 802.3af/802.3at/802.3bt PoE on ports 4 through 7 with up to 90W UPOE+ per PoE port when configured on the supported Cisco IOS XE 17.12.2 or later platform baseline.
