NIM-2FXO Description

Cisco NIM-2FXO is a 2-port Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) analog voice Network Interface Module for Cisco ISR 4000 Series routers. This universal FXO module adds two analog PSTN/PBX trunk interfaces with onboard DSP, supporting loop-start and ground-start signaling, caller ID, battery-reversal detection, echo cancellation up to 128 ms, and a full suite of voice codecs and fax/modem features. As a NIM, it supports online insertion and removal (OIR) and does not require motherboard PVDMs for TDM analog voice.
