C9350-NM-4C Description
The C9350-NM-4C is a Cisco Catalyst 9350 Series Smart Switches network module for high-density 40G and 100G uplinks on the largest access switches. The module has four QSFP28 ports that run at 40G or 100G, for up to 400 Gbps of uplink bandwidth, and it is hot-swappable. The module installs only in C9350-48HX, C9350-48TX and C9350-24Y; the other C9350 models do not support it.

A C9350-48HX closet serving 10G multigigabit Wi-Fi access points and UPOE+ endpoints can send traffic to the aggregation layer over four 100G links from the module.
A C9350-48TX that terminates 10G copper workstations or servers can use the module to build a 400 Gbps uplink bundle toward a collapsed core.

C9350-NM-4C differs from C9350-NM-2C in port count: four QSFP28 40G/100G ports for up to 400 Gbps against two ports and 200 Gbps. The four-port module installs only in C9350-48HX, C9350-48TX and C9350-24Y, so every other listed C9350 host, including C9350-24P, C9350-48P, C9350-24T, C9350-48T, C9350-24U and C9350-48U, is limited to C9350-NM-2C at 200 Gbps. Uplinks on SFP-family optics, with eight 1G/10G/25G ports or four 50G ports, call for C9350-NM-8Y instead, which also installs in the 24-port and 48-port hosts that C9350-NM-4C does not support.
Ordering Checklist
- Catalyst 9350 hosts: Use the module only in C9350-48HX, C9350-48TX and C9350-24Y. It is not listed for C9350-24P, C9350-48P, C9350-24T, C9350-48T, C9350-24U or C9350-48U.
- Module PID: Order C9350-NM-4C on a new switch order and C9350-NM-4C= as the spare. The = PID is the separate spare for replacing or adding a module on an installed switch.
