The C9105AXI-E is a Cisco Catalyst 9105AXI Series indoor access point with internal antennas for controller-managed Wi-Fi 6 coverage in European Community and EFTA countries. The access point has dual-band 2x2:2 MU-MIMO radios, a maximum 802.11ax PHY rate of 1.488 Gbps, one 10/100/1000 Base-T uplink and a draw of 11W at the powered device. The access point has no downlink LAN ports and joins a Catalyst 9800 or AireOS controller running Cisco IOS XE 17.3.1 or Unified Wireless Network 8.10MR3 or later.

In a branch office across the European Community or EFTA, the access point hangs from the ceiling and joins the site’s Catalyst 9800 controller over CAPWAP for 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 coverage.
A school or small campus building can power the access point from existing 802.3af switch ports, so the single 10/100/1000 Base-T uplink is the only cable each ceiling location needs.
Open-plan offices use the internal antennas, rated 4 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi at 5 GHz, with the low-profile AIR-AP-BRACKET-8 on T-rail ceilings.

C9105AXI-E is the standard controller-managed Catalyst 9105AXI access point for the European regulatory domain, while C9105AXI-EWC-E has the same 2×2:2 Wi-Fi 6 radios, internal antennas and 1G uplink but carries the Embedded Wireless Controller image. Designs that need that image at purchase order C9105AXI-EWC-E. Teleworker deployments move to C9105AXIT-E, which follows the teleworker order path with an infrastructure kit instead of the plain access point PID. All three list 802.3af or 802.3at PoE input, so power class does not separate them.
