Cisco C9105AXI-E is an indoor, controller-based Wi-Fi 6 access point with integrated antennas, delivering 2×2:2 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It implements key 802.11ax innovations—uplink/downlink OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, and Target Wake Time—for higher efficiency, capacity, and client battery savings in dense environments. Hardware includes a 1×1 GbE PoE uplink, RJ-45 console, multi-color status LED, and internal dual-band antennas (4 dBi at 2.4 GHz; 5 dBi at 5 GHz), plus an integrated 2.4 GHz BLE/IoT radio. The unit operates from 0–50 °C and supports 802.3af/at PoE, Cisco UPOE, and Cisco power injectors AIR-PWRINJ5=/AIR-PWRINJ6=; on 802.3af it maintains 2×2 on both bands with a 1 Gbps link. C9105AXI-E joins Cisco Catalyst 9800 and AireOS controllers (AireOS 8.10 MR3+; IOS-XE 17.3.x+). Mounting options include the AIR-AP-BRACKET-8 and standard ceiling grid clips; a mode button enables recovery and full factory reset when required.
