C9300L-STACK-KIT Description
The C9300L-STACK-KIT is a Cisco StackWise-320 stack kit for Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches in access closets. The kit contains two C9300L-STACK adapters and one 50 cm STACK-T3-50CM cable, and the Catalyst 9300L platform stacks up to eight switches at 320 Gbps when every member runs the same license level. The kit works with Type 3 cables only, and Catalyst 9300LM switches use Type 3A adapters and cables that this kit does not include.

Application Scenarios
In an access closet, the kit joins Catalyst 9300L switches into one StackWise-320 stack of up to eight members, and the short 50 cm cable links switches mounted directly above one another.
When an office floor outgrows its first Catalyst 9300L switches, the two stack adapters and the cable bring another switch into the existing stack without adding a separate uplink.

C9300L-STACK-KIT is the Type 3 StackWise-320 kit, including two C9300L-STACK adapters and one STACK-T3-50CM cable, while C9300L-STACK-KIT2 is the Type 3A kit built on C9300L-STACK-A adapters and STACK-T3A cables. Catalyst 9300LM switches use only C9300L-STACK-KIT2, so any stack with a C9300LM member needs that kit, while Catalyst 9300L switches can use either kit. STACK-T3-50CM is the cable alone, which fits a replacement or a longer run (STACK-T3-1M or STACK-T3-3M) only where adapters are already installed. A spare kit is ordered as C9300L-STACK-KIT=.

- Catalyst 9300L hosts: Use the kit with Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches, such as C9300L-24UXG-4X-A and C9300L-48UXG-4X-E. Catalyst 9300L stacks over StackWise-320 with C9300L-STACK-KIT or C9300L-STACK-KIT2, up to 8 members.
- Catalyst 9300LM hosts: Catalyst 9300LM switches, such as C9300LM-24U-4Y-A, use C9300L-STACK-KIT2 instead of this kit. The Type 3 kit does not cover C9300LM members, which use the Type 3A cable path.
- Modular-uplink switches: Catalyst 9300 and 9300X switches use STACK-T1-50CM, STACK-T1-1M or STACK-T1-3M cables. Fixed-uplink C9300L and C9300LM members cannot stack with modular-uplink C9300 or C9300X members.
