PWR-C5-715WDC Description
The PWR-C5-715WDC is a Cisco 715W DC Config 5 power supply module for Catalyst 9200L and Catalyst 9200 PoE switches in DC-powered cabinets. The module takes -40 to -72 VDC on a terminal block and delivers 55V at 13.25A plus 5V at 0.3A, which gives the host 485W of available PoE from one supply, rising to 740W on 24-port models and 970W on 48-port models with a second supply. The module needs Cisco IOS XE 17.8.1 or later and does not fit data models such as the C9200L-24T-4G, which run on AC supplies.

PWR-C5-715WDC is the Config 5 715W DC supply for C9200L and C9200 PoE switches, and it matches PWR-C6-715WDC at 715W output, -40 to -72 VDC input and terminal-block connection, so the Config code is the only difference and it follows the switch model row in the BOM. Facility power is the first split from the AC parts: PWR-C5-600WAC takes 100 to 240 VAC through an IEC 320-C16 cord and gives 370W of PoE from one supply, against 485W from one PWR-C5-715WDC. For 48-port full-PoE AC rows, PWR-C5-1KWAC is a 1000W supply with 740W of PoE from one unit. With a second DC supply the budget reaches 740W on 24-port PoE rows and 970W on 48-port rows, so a 48-port design that needs the 1440W of a dual 1KW AC pair has to stay on PWR-C5-1KWAC.
