The C9K-PWR-650WACL-R is a Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series 650W AC power supply module for European High Performance switch installations. The module accepts 90 to 264 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz, delivers 12V main at 54A plus 12V standby at 3A and carries a 2.5KV CM, 1KV DM surge rating with at least 12 ms of AC line hold-up at 100 percent load. The module must be installed in both power bays of a C9500-32QC, C9500-48Y4C or C9500-24Y4C in a dual-supply configuration, because a single unit causes abnormal operation.

C9K-PWR-650WACL-R and C9K-PWR-650WAC-R share 650W, 90 to 264 VAC input, the C14 receptacle and the same three Catalyst 9500 hosts, but C9K-PWR-650WACL-R is rated for 2.5KV CM and 1KV DM surge, at least 12 ms of AC line hold-up at 100 percent load and 140 percent over-power protection, against 4KV CM, 2KV DM, 20 ms at 90 percent load and 130 percent for C9K-PWR-650WAC-R. European installations with two supplies in the chassis require C9K-PWR-650WACL-R in both bays, and Cisco warns that a single one in a dual-supply configuration disrupts service. For a -48 VDC feed or 930W, order C9K-PWR-930WDC-R instead.
