The C9K-PWR-650WAC-R is a Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series 650W AC power supply module for High Performance switches in wiring rooms and data center racks. The module accepts 90 to 264 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz, draws up to 6.8A at 115 VAC and delivers 12V main at 54A plus 12V standby at 3A at 94 percent typical efficiency. The module is listed for the C9500-32QC, C9500-48Y4C and C9500-24Y4C, and the 1600W supplies of the C9500-32C do not fit these switches.

In a data center row, the module supplies a C9500-32QC aggregation switch from a standard 115 or 230 VAC feed through a C14 inlet.
A campus core room can fill both bays of a C9500-48Y4C or C9500-24Y4C with this module and connect each to a separate AC source for redundant power.

C9K-PWR-650WAC-R and C9K-PWR-650WACL-R are both 650W AC supplies with 90 to 264 VAC input and the same three Catalyst 9500 hosts, but C9K-PWR-650WAC-R is rated for 4KV CM and 2KV DM surge, at least 20 ms of AC line hold-up at 90 percent load and 130 percent over-power protection, against 2.5KV CM, 1KV DM, 12 ms at 100 percent load and 140 percent for C9K-PWR-650WACL-R. Where Cisco’s European dual-supply rule applies, the chassis needs C9K-PWR-650WACL-R in both bays. A site with a -48 VDC feed, or one that wants 930W, moves to C9K-PWR-930WDC-R, which takes -40 to -72 VDC and up to 23A at -48 VDC.
