PWR-C5-1KWAC Description
The PWR-C5-1KWAC is a Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series 1KW AC Config 5 power supply module for 48-port PoE+ Catalyst 9200L switches. The module is rated for 1000W at 54V and 16.5A from a 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz input on an IEC 320-C16 receptacle, and it is the default supply of C9200L-48P-4G, C9200L-48P-4X and C9200L-48PXG-4X. One module gives those switches 740W of available PoE, and a second module raises the budget to 1440W.

Application Scenarios
In a 48-port PoE+ wiring closet, one module supplies the switch and leaves 740W of PoE for IP phones and wireless access points.
A closet with cameras and access points drawing PoE+ on every port installs a second module, which brings the PoE budget to 1440W and covers 30W on all 48 ports.

PWR-C5-1KWAC and PWR-C6-1KWAC match at 1000W and 54V at 16.5A, but the Config 6 part is not supported on C9200L, so C9200L 48-port PoE models stay on PWR-C5-1KWAC while C9200 models accept either. On those 48-port PoE models one PWR-C5-1KWAC gives 740W of PoE and a second raises it to 1440W. PWR-C5-600WAC at 600W belongs to the 24-port PoE class and PWR-C5-125WAC at 125W to data switches with no PoE, so neither replaces the 1KW supply in a 48-port PoE chassis.
