QSFP-40G-SR4-S Description
QSFP-40G-SR4-S is a Cisco 40GBASE-SR4 S-Class QSFP+ transceiver module designed for high-density, low-power 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Also referred to as "Cisco 40GBASE-SR4 S-Class module" or "QSFP+ 40G SR4", this module supports up to 100 meters on OM3 and 150 meters on OM4/OM5 multimode fiber, utilizing an MPO-12 connector. It offers a cost-effective solution for data center, enterprise, and high-performance computing networks requiring reliable, short-reach 40G optical links. The S-Class version is optimized for Ethernet applications and does not support FCoE or 4x10G breakout. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 standards, the QSFP-40G-SR4-S ensures seamless interoperability and simplified deployment.
