The C1000-48P-4G-L is a Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series fixed managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch for access closets that power phones, cameras and access points.   • Uplink optics: Add SFP modules only for the four SFP uplink slots, checked in the Cisco Transceiver Module Compatibility Matrix. The SFP slots do not accept SFP+ modules, so a 10G optic cannot be installed.
