The C1000-24P-4X-L is a Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series fixed managed Layer 2 PoE+ access switch for campus closets that power endpoints and aggregate over 10G fiber. The switch has 24 10/100/1000 RJ45 PoE+ ports sharing a 195W budget, four 10G SFP+ uplinks, 128 Gbps of switching bandwidth and a fanless chassis. The PoE budget is fixed by the model and cannot be increased later, and routing is limited to static routes.

C1000-24P-4X-L and C1000-24P-4G-L share 24 PoE+ ports and a 195W PoE budget, but C1000-24P-4X-L has 4 x 10G SFP+ uplinks at 128 Gbps switching bandwidth while C1000-24P-4G-L has 4 x 1G SFP uplinks at 56 Gbps, so sites with only 1G aggregation links can use C1000-24P-4G-L. Closets with no powered endpoints and 10G uplinks can use C1000-24T-4X-L, the data-only model. Powered loads above 195W need C1000-24FP-4X-L, which offers a 370W budget on the same 10G uplinks but is fan-cooled rather than fanless.
