The C9400-SSD-960GB is a Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series M2 SATA SSD module that adds local storage to a Catalyst 9400 supervisor for container-based application hosting. The module provides 960GB on the supervisor’s M2 connector, ships formatted EXT4 with EXT2, EXT3 and EXT4 supported, and mounts as disk0: for read, write, delete, format and copy operations. The SSD is not hot-swappable, so the system must be powered down to install or replace it, and Cisco IOS XE Everest 16.6.1 is the minimum release.
