The C9400-LC-48P is a Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series 48-port PoE+ line card for access closets that power phones and cameras over Gigabit copper. The card has 48 RJ-45 10/100/1000M ports, supplies up to 30W per port under IEEE 802.3at and carries 48 Gbps of nonblocking bandwidth at a maximum rated power of 65 W. The card supports only IEEE 802.3af/at and Cisco pre-standard PoE, so it does not provide 60W UPOE or 90W UPOE+ output.

Endpoints that need 60W Cisco UPOE call for C9400-LC-48U, and 90W Cisco UPOE+ endpoints call for C9400-LC-48H, which also raises the software floor from Cisco IOS XE 16.8.1 to 16.12.1.
