The C9400-LC-48TX is a Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series data-only multigigabit line card for access closets that terminate 10GBASE-T copper endpoints. The card has 48 RJ-45 ports running 10GBASE-T, 5G/2.5G multigigabit and 1000M/100M, up to 480 Gbps of line-card bandwidth and a 270 W maximum rated power. The card works only with C9400X-SUP-2 or C9400X-SUP-2XL and needs Cisco IOS XE 17.13.1 or later.

    No. C9400-LC-48TX works only with C9400X-SUP-2 or C9400X-SUP-2XL, and C9400-SUP-1, C9400-SUP-1XL and C9400-SUP-1XL-Y do not support the card. The card installs in any non-supervisor slot of a C9404R, C9407R or C9410R chassis. Supervisor slots do not accept the card.
