C9400-SUP-1XL Description
C9400-SUP-1XL—commonly called the Catalyst 9400 Supervisor 1XL—is the sweet-spot engine for secure campus aggregation. Its programmable UADP 2.0 ASIC raises slot throughput to 240 Gbps in a C9404R (120 Gbps in C9407R, 80 Gbps in C9410R) while keeping overall cost and power draw low. Eight native 10 G SFP+ or two 40 G QSFP+ uplinks allow gradual migration from 10 G cores to 40 G backbones. With wire-rate MACsec-256, 16 GB DRAM for feature-rich IOS XE services, and optional NVMe SSD for on-box analytics, SUP-1XL delivers future-proof fabric capacity for mid-sized enterprises.
