GLC-TE Description
GLC-TE is a Cisco 1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver for Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 links where a supported Cisco host needs twisted-pair connectivity instead of fiber. It provides 10/100/1000 auto negotiation over Category 5 UTP or better cabling up to 100 m, uses a four twisted-pair copper interface with Auto MDI/MDIX support, carries Cisco's EXT temperature rating with a -5 to 85 C operating range, and lists DOM support as not applicable for this copper module.
