The SFP-H10GB-ACU10M is a Cisco 10GBASE-CU active Twinax SFP+ cable assembly for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links of 10 m between SFP+ ports. The cable has an SFP+ connector at each end, draws up to 1W, operates from 0 to 70°C and has a red bail latch. The cable is an active copper assembly, and support on a given host port is set by the Cisco Transceiver Module Group Compatibility Matrix.

Runs of 5 meters or less can use the passive SFP-H10GB-CU5M, which draws 0.1W against 1W for the active cables. Where an optical cable is required at the same 10 meters, SFP-10G-AOC10M is an active optical cable assembly rather than Twinax copper.
