SFP-10G-LR Description
SFP-10G-LR is a Cisco 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver module designed for long-distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) connectivity. Also known as Cisco 10G SFP+ LR or 10GBASE-LR SFP+, it operates at 1310 nm and supports transmission distances up to 10 kilometers over standard G.652 single-mode fiber. With hot-swappable design, digital optical monitoring (DOM), and compliance with IEEE 802.3ae and FCoE protocols, it is ideal for data center backbones, enterprise core layers, and metropolitan networks requiring reliable, high-speed optical links and storage convergence.
