The SFP-H10GB-ACU7M is a Cisco 10GBASE-CU active Twinax SFP+ cable assembly for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links of 7 m between SFP+ ports. The cable has an SFP+ connector at each end, draws up to 1W, operates from 0 to 70°C and has a blue bail latch. The cable is an active copper assembly, and support on a given host port is set by the Cisco Transceiver Module Group Compatibility Matrix.

SFP-H10GB-ACU7M is the 7-meter, 30 AWG active Twinax copper cable, while SFP-H10GB-ACU10M is the same active type at 10 meters on 28 AWG, so runs longer than 7 meters need SFP-H10GB-ACU10M. Runs of 5 meters or less can use the passive SFP-H10GB-CU5M, built on 24 AWG or 26 AWG, which draws 0.1W against 1W for the active cables. Sites that need optical rather than copper cabling at 7 meters use SFP-10G-AOC7M, an active optical cable assembly that is not a Twinax copper cable. All four are 10 Gigabit SFP+ to SFP+ cables in the commercial temperature class, and SFP-H10GB-ACU7M and SFP-10G-AOC7M share a blue bail latch.
