PWR-IE65W-PC-DC Description
The PWR-IE65W-PC-DC is a Cisco Industrial DIN-Rail 65W low-DC-to-DC power supply for PoE-capable industrial Ethernet switches in cabinets with a low-voltage DC bus. It accepts DC 18-60V (DC 24-48V/4.5A nominal), delivers 54VDC at 1.2A for 65W maximum output, and reaches 92% typical efficiency. The supply is hardwired, rated IP20, and approved for Class 1, Div 2 and Zone 2 locations from -40°C to +75°C.

Application Scenarios
In a cabinet fed from a 24V or 48V DC bus, such as telecom-style plant power or a battery-backed rail, the supply raises that feed to 54VDC for the PoE input of an IE 2000 or IE 4000 switch.
Beside an IE 3000 switch with an IEM-3000 PoE expansion module, one supply provides the module’s dedicated DC input, giving the extra PoE ports a separate power source from the switch.

Cabinets fed by AC 90-264V or DC 106-300V need PWR-IE65W-PC-AC, which has the same 65W output. PoE loads above 65W on a low-voltage DC feed need PWR-IE170W-PC-DC, which accepts DC 10.8-60V and delivers 54VDC at 3.2A for 170W. Where PoE is not needed and the device runs from 24VDC, PWR-IE50W-AC provides 24VDC at 2.1A and 50W from AC or high-voltage DC input.
