The PWR-IE50W-AC is a Cisco Industrial DIN-rail power supply for rugged switch and router cabinets that need 24VDC from an AC or high-voltage DC feed. The supply delivers 50W at 24VDC (2.1A) from a hardwired input of AC 90-264V or DC 106-300V, carries an IP20 rating and operates from -40C to +75C. The supply has no PoE output and is approved for Class 1 Div 2 or Zone 2 hazardous locations.

At a remote industrial site, an IR809 router can take the supply as its optional AC power adapter on 110/220V AC or 88-300V DC input, instead of direct low-voltage DC wiring.

PWR-IE50W-AC is the 50W no-PoE supply for IE 1000, Catalyst IE3200, IE3300 and IE3400 switches, with 24 VDC output at 2.1 A and a hardwired input that takes AC 90-264V or DC 106-300V. Cabinets with PoE ports to feed need PWR-IE65W-PC-AC, which delivers 54 VDC at 1.2 A and 65W on the same hardwired AC or DC input and the same Class 1 Div 2 or Zone 2 approval. Sites that want a plug-in IEC connector in place of terminal wiring use PWR-IE50W-AC-IEC, which has the same 24 VDC, 50W output but accepts AC only, is not approved for hazardous locations and is rated -20C to +70C.
