Cisco PWR-IE480W-PCAC-L is a 480W DIN-rail industrial AC power supply that delivers 54V DC at 8.9A, optimized for powering Cisco Catalyst rugged switches, routers, and compute devices with very high PoE/PoE+ demand. It accepts a universal AC input (100–240V AC, 6A, 50/60Hz) within a wide 90–264V range, achieving 92% efficiency with a holdup time of 20 ms at full load.Compact yet powerful (144 × 121 × 118.6 mm, 1.37 kg), it features fanless convection cooling, IP20 protection, and reliability with an MTBF over 1.05M hours. The PSU includes built-in protection (OVP, OCP, OTP, SCP) and operates from −40°C to +75°C with derating above 50°C (vertical) or 70°C (horizontal).Though not approved for hazardous locations, it is the highest-capacity Cisco industrial PSU, ideal for dense deployments where multiple access points, cameras, and sensors are powered simultaneously via Cisco Catalyst IE switches.
