PWR-IE50W-AC-L Description
The PWR-IE50W-AC-L is a Cisco Industrial DIN-Rail 50W AC-to-DC power supply for industrial Ethernet switch cabinets fed from an AC line. It takes AC 100-240V (AC 90-264V supported), delivers 24VDC at 2.1A for 50W maximum output, and is rated for -20°C to +70°C operation at IP20, with power derating above 55°C and below -10°C. The supply is hardwired, carries no PoE support, and is not approved for hazardous location installations.

Application Scenarios
In a DIN-rail control cabinet with an AC feed, the supply converts line voltage to 24VDC for an industrial Ethernet switch that does not need PoE. Its 0.18 kg body leaves room on a crowded rail.
On a factory-floor IE 1000 or IE 2000 switch with no PoE load, the supply provides the 24VDC switch input from a hardwired AC source. The installation stays outside hazardous areas, since the unit carries no hazardous-location approval.

PWR-IE50W-AC-L is the AC-only 50W model of this group, with hardwired terminals, 24VDC output, no PoE and no hazardous-location approval, and it derates above 55C and below -10C. Cabinets fed by 125-250VDC, or sites that need Class 1 Div 2 or Zone 2 approval and operation from -40C to +75C without derating, need PWR-IE50W-AC. Where the supply must have a plug-in input instead of hardwired terminals, PWR-IE50W-AC-IEC keeps the same 50W, 24VDC output and the same -20C to +70C range without derating. Loads that need PoE require PWR-IE65W-PC-AC, which delivers 54VDC at 1.2A and 65W.
