PWR-IE65W-PC-AC Description
The PWR-IE65W-PC-AC is a Cisco Industrial DIN-Rail 65W AC-to-DC or high-DC-to-DC power supply for PoE-capable industrial Ethernet switches. It accepts AC 90-264V or DC 106-300V, delivers 54VDC at 1.2A for 65W maximum output, and holds output for 10ms at full load. The supply is hardwired, rated IP20, and approved for Class 1, Div 2 and Zone 2 hazardous locations over -40°C to +75°C.

Application Scenarios
On an IE 2000U switch in a plant network, the supply feeds the PoE input so the switch can power a small number of cameras or access points. Cisco’s IE 2000U note puts one 65W module at four PoE ports or two PoE+ ports.
In a substation or utility cabinet with a 125-250V DC station battery, the supply steps that bus down to 54VDC for an IE 3500 or IE 4000 switch. The same unit also runs from AC 100-240V where the cabinet has a line feed.

Cabinets with only a low-voltage DC feed of 18-60V need PWR-IE65W-PC-DC, which has the same 65W output and a typical efficiency of 92% against 85%. PoE loads above 65W need PWR-IE170W-PC-AC, which delivers 54VDC at 3.2A for 170W from the same AC or high-voltage DC input and has a 20ms holdup time against 10ms. Where PoE is not needed and the device runs from 24VDC, PWR-IE50W-AC provides 24VDC at 2.1A and 50W from the same input range.
