The C8225-G2 is the security-services tier of the all-gigabit Cisco 8200 Series desktop routers. Its faceplate is 2x 1/10 GE SFP+ plus eight 1 GE copper ports split as two WAN, two Flex and four LAN, with no cellular bay, no module slot and no PoE-capable supply anywhere in the configuration. It shares that faceplate exactly with C8221-G2, and the pair differ only in DRAM at 16 GB against 8 GB and Threat protection at 2.4 Gbps against 1 Gbps. Forwarding, IPsec and SD-WAN are 19, 5 and 4 Gbps on both. The chassis is a 5 lb desktop unit running on a 66W AC adapter, and the platform starts at Cisco IOS XE Release 26.1.2.
