The 5G module is built into the chassis with dual nano SIM slots rather than fitted as a pluggable, so the radio generation is fixed at purchase but no slot is consumed and no separate module line appears on the order.
Two nano SIM slots let the site hold profiles from two carriers, which is what allows a failover path that does not depend on a single operator’s coverage at that address.
Cisco lists twenty-five 5G FR1 bands and LTE bands from B1 through B106 on the embedded module, so the same SKU is deployable across regions without selecting a radio variant.
The ten-gigabit WAN port is matched by six gigabit LAN positions and two Flex ports, so the site can terminate a fast circuit and its wired devices on one chassis.
