C8151H-C-G2 Description
The C8151H-C-G2 is a Cisco 8100 Series Secure Router for small branches that terminate a 10G BASE-T circuit and need built-in 5G backup. The fanless router has one 1GE RJ-45/SFP combo and one 10G BASE-T WAN port, six 1GE LAN ports, 5.6 Gbps of forwarding, 900 Mbps of SD-WAN and 500K IPv4 routes. The 3GPP Release 17 5G module is embedded with dual nano SIM slots rather than pluggable, and the router requires Cisco IOS XE 26.1.2.

One 10G BASE-T WAN port sits beside a 1GE RJ-45/SFP combo WAN port, so a ten-gigabit copper circuit terminates directly on the router.
The 3GPP Release 17 module is built into the chassis, so no cellular slot is used and no separate module is fitted. It covers 25 5G FR1 bands from n1 to n79 and LTE bands B1 through B106.
Dual nano SIM slots hold profiles from two carriers at the same time, which keeps a failover path independent of a single operator’s coverage.
Six 1GE RJ-45 LAN ports and two 1GE RJ-45 Flex ports connect the site’s wired devices behind the faster uplink.
SD-WAN Capable is Yes at 900 Mbps, with 1 Gbps of Threat Protection and 5.6 Gbps of forwarding. The minimum releases are Cisco IOS XE 26.1.2 and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Release 26.1.2.
The 5.1 lb body draws 25W typical from a 66W external supply and has no fan. It mounts in a rack, on a desk, under a desk, on DIN-rail or on a wall.

C8151H-C-G2 is the 10G BASE-T WAN model with embedded 5G: it has six LAN ports, 5.6 Gbps forwarding and 500K IPv4 routes, while C8151-CVAI-G2 has the same LAN count, forwarding and embedded 5G but adds an RJ-11 DSL port and an XGSPON/10G BASE-T WAN port. Sites on a DSL or XGSPON circuit need C8151-CVAI-G2. Sites that need no cellular and only two LAN ports can use C8130H-G2, which forwards 1.9 Gbps, holds 280K IPv4 routes and 1K VRFs, and runs SD-WAN only from Cisco IOS XE 26.2.1. C8151H-C-G2 requires Cisco IOS XE 26.1.2, while C8151-CVAI-G2 starts at 26.1.1.
