The CP-8832-MIC-WIRED is a Cisco wired microphone kit for the IP Conference Phone 8832, with two silver microphones for use worldwide. The kit extends coverage from a 20 x 20 ft room with 10 participants to a 20 x 34 ft room with up to 22 participants, using cables about 7 feet long. The kit includes no adapter and cannot be combined with the wireless microphone kits on the same phone.

Application Scenarios
A 20 x 34 ft meeting room places the two microphones along the table, 3 to 7 feet from the 8832 base. Speakers at the far end are then picked up clearly on calls with up to 22 participants.
A training room with up to 22 attendees puts one microphone near the instructor end and one mid-room, both within 7 feet of cable reach from the 8832 base. The wired pair lifts pickup beyond the 10 participants the base covers alone.
A radio-restricted room pairs the kit with a CP-8832-NR-K9 base. The wired microphones add pickup without any wireless link.

The wireless kits add a charging tray, power adapter and USB-C cable and cover a 20 x 40-ft room with up to 26 participants, against 20 x 34 ft and 22 participants for the wired kit. Rooms that need the larger wireless coverage should pick the wireless kit that matches the region. Wired and wireless kits cannot be mixed on one phone.
