CP-8845-K9 Description
The CP-8845-K9 is a Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series video desk phone for offices that take calls with 720p video from the desk. The phone has five programmable line and feature keys, a 5-inch 800 x 480 color display with 720p H.264/AVC video and a two-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, and it supports Bluetooth 4.1 LE. The phone runs on IEEE PoE Class 2 and does not support Key Expansion Modules.

Staff who join video calls on Cisco Unified Communications Manager can do so from the desk phone, using its 720p H.264/AVC video and 5-inch color display.
A desk with one access-switch drop connects the phone and a co-located PC through the internal two-port Gigabit Ethernet switch.
Desks where staff pair a wireless headset use the phone’s Bluetooth 4.1 LE radio, a Class 1 device with a range of up to 66 ft (20 m).

CP-8845-K9 and CP-8865-K9 both have a 5 in. color display, 720p H.264 video and Bluetooth 4.1, but CP-8845-K9 is a PoE Class 2 phone while CP-8865-K9 is Class 4, and the Cisco 8865 datasheet adds 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, two USB ports and support for up to three Key Expansion Modules, none of which Cisco lists for CP-8845-K9. A desk that needs Wi-Fi or a KEM must therefore use CP-8865-K9, because CP-8845-K9 does not support KEMs. CP-8845-W-K9 is the white version of CP-8845-K9 with the same specifications. If video is not needed, CP-8841-K9 is the non-video color model.
Ordering Checklist
- Unified CM license: Add an Enhanced User Connect License for each CP-8845-K9 registering to Cisco UCM. Without it the video phone cannot be added to Cisco UCM.
- Power source: Use PoE Class 2 from the switch, or CP-PWR-CUBE-4 plus one cord from CP-PWR-CORD-{AP,AR,AU,BZ,CE,CN,JP,NA,SW,UK}=. A non-PoE desk has no power, and Power Cube 4 needs a country cord.
- Video-model mounting parts: Order CP-8800-VIDEO-WMK= for wall mounting and CP-8800-B-VID-BEZEL= or CP-8800-S-VID-BEZEL= for the bezel, not CP-8800-WMK= or CP-8800-B-BEZEL=. The 8845 has separate VIDEO/VID spare parts, so the standard parts are the wrong order.
