PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H Description
The PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H is a Cisco 150W high-voltage AC/DC power supply for rugged IE 4010 and IE 5000 switches in hazardous-location cabinets. The supply accepts AC 100-240V or DC 100-250V, with supported ranges of AC 85-264V and DC 88-300V, and it carries PoE/PoE+ loads of 80W on an IE 4010 and 65W on an IE 5000 from one supply. The -H suffix is the version required for hazardous-location installs, and the Catalyst IE 3010 uses a different /IA part.

PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H runs from AC 85-264V or DC 88-300V, while PWR-RGD-LOW-DC-H, in the same 150 W class, accepts only DC 18-75V (nominal 24-60V/10A), so the supply in the cabinet decides between them. A 24V or 48V DC plant needs PWR-RGD-LOW-DC-H, and an AC or 100-250 VDC source uses PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H. Where PoE budget is the limit, PWR-RGD-AC-DC-250 raises the class to 250 W on the same AC and high-voltage DC input: on an IE 4010 it gives 180 W of PoE from one supply against 80 W from one PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H, at 3.1 lb against 2.55 lb. All three are marked for hazardous-location power, so that does not separate them.

- Catalyst IE 4010 hosts: Match the supply to IE-4010-16S12P and IE-4010-4S24P, both of which list PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H. PoE+ load reaches up to 80 W with one supply or 200 W with two.
- Industrial Ethernet 5000 hosts: Match the supply to IE-5000-12S12P-10G and IE-5000-16S12P. These IE 5000 models take the same 150 W supply, with 65 W of PoE from one supply and 185 W from two.
- Catalyst IE 3010: Do not order PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H for the IE 3010; its power module PID is PWR-RGD-AC-DC/IA. The IE 3010 uses /IA PIDs, a different part from the -H supply.
