PWR-4430-AC Description
The PWR-4430-AC is a Cisco internal AC power supply module for Cisco ISR 4430 and ISR 4431 routers in branch wiring rooms. The module takes 100 to 240 VAC autoranging input at 47 to 63 Hz and delivers up to 250W on the ISR 4431. The supply carries no PoE, so a router that powers endpoints from its own ports uses the PoE-capable AC supply.

PWR-4430-AC is the AC power supply for the ISR 4430 and Cisco 4431, delivering up to 250W without PoE. PWR-4430-DC is the DC version for sites fed from -48 to -60 VDC, with a maximum output of 437W, and PWR-4430-POE-AC is the AC version rated 500W that adds PoE, where the usable PoE budget is lower than the supply rating. The ISR 4431 supports two power supplies for redundancy. A router that powers endpoints from its own ports needs PWR-4430-POE-AC rather than PWR-4430-AC, and a DC-fed room needs PWR-4430-DC, which cannot be combined with a PoE module. Sites with AC feed and no PoE devices stay with PWR-4430-AC.

- ISR 4430 and Cisco 4431 hosts: Order PWR-4430-AC= as the AC power-supply spare for Cisco ISR 4430 and Cisco 4431 routers; install a second supply in the other bay when the ISR 4431 needs power redundancy. The ISR 4450 and ISR 4350 use PWR-4450-AC, so the two PIDs are not interchangeable.
