PWR-CC1-400WAC Description
PWR-CC1-400WAC is an AC PoE power supply for Cisco Catalyst 8300 1RU platforms. It provides a 250W maximum system power rating,making it suitable for branch routers that need to power multiple access points, IP phones or security cameras directly from the chassis. Input-voltage support from 100 to 240 VAC at 50–60 Hz and an 80 Plus Silver efficiency rating help reduce power loss and heat in enterprise and service-provider edge environments.This power supply delivers a regulated 12V 33A DC output for the system and supports 20 ms output hold-up time to ride through short AC disturbances. It uses a standard IEC 320 C14 input receptacle with a recommended 10A power cord and is designed as a field-replaceable module, allowing operators to deploy dual PSUs for high availability on Catalyst 8300 1RU platforms.According to Cisco’s notice, PWR-CC1-400WAC was used as a temporary substitute for the 250-watt PWR-CC1-250WAC on Catalyst 8300 1RU platforms during component shortages and is no longer shipped as default, but it retains the same support as the original PWR-CC1-250WAC power supply. This makes it a fully supported choice for existing deployments that require a replacement or spare AC PoE PSU with a higher PoE power budget.
