QSFP-100G-SR4-S is a Cisco 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP optical transceiver for short-reach 100 Gigabit Ethernet links over parallel multimode fiber. Use Cisco’s documented reach values when reviewing the physical path: 70m on OM3, 100m on OM4, and 100m on OM5. Longer multimode requirements should be reviewed against a different Cisco optic family.
