CS-DESKPRO-K9 Description
The CS-DESKPRO-K9 is a Cisco Desk Pro personal video endpoint for individual desks and single-occupant focus rooms. The endpoint has a 27-inch 4K touch display, a 12 MP camera with a 71-degree horizontal field of view, an 8-element microphone array, an internal 2-port 10/100/1000BASE-T switch and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, and it is rated at 200W maximum. USB-C charges a connected laptop at up to 60W, and five-way embedded conferencing needs the MultiSite software option.

Product Performance
Key Features
One USB-C run carries 4Kp60 display extension, touch forwarding, camera and audio passthrough and up to 60W of charging, so the endpoint replaces a monitor, a dock and a headset.
The internal 2-port Cisco Ethernet switch lets the endpoint and a nearby PC share one 10/100/1000BASE-T cable, so a second structured cable is not needed at the desk.
The same hardware runs RoomOS 11 or later or Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, so the meeting platform can be chosen at provisioning.
The endpoint registers natively to Unified CM 10.5 or later, Cisco Expressway or Webex Service, and works with third-party H.323 gatekeepers and SIP proxies.
A physical shutter with an LED works with the microphone-mute and camera-on indicators, giving open-plan users a hardware privacy signal.
With the MultiSite option the endpoint hosts five-way SIP and H.323 conferences itself, at three-way 1080p30 or five-way 720p30, without a separate bridge.
Application Scenarios
At an individual desk, one user joins scheduled video meetings from a dedicated endpoint instead of a laptop camera, and the 27-inch panel doubles as the primary work display.
In a focus room booked for calls, the built-in camera, microphone array and loudspeakers cover the whole room, so no separate camera or speaker needs installing.
A remote office can attach the endpoint over its RJ-45 port or over Wi-Fi when no wired drop exists, and it registers like an in-office desk.

CS-DESKPRO-K9 is the Desk Pro with the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac radio and embedded encryption, while CS-DESKPRO-NR-K9 keeps the same 27-inch 4K panel, 12 MP camera and 200W rating with the radio removed. Sites whose policy bans on-board wireless should order CS-DESKPRO-NR-K9. CS-DESKPRO-NR-K7 drops embedded encryption (Webex end-to-end, H.235 v3 and AES) as well, so it fits only where an unencrypted endpoint is required. U.S. Government purchases under TAA need the separate PID CS-DESKPRO-K9++. Native registration to Unified CM needs version 10.5 or later with the latest device pack.
Ordering Checklist
- Registration license: Select A-FLEX-C-DEVICE for Webex Device Cloud, A-FLEX-P-DEVICE for Webex Device On-Premises, or A-FLEX-P-DEV-11X for Unified CM. The endpoint needs the subscription that matches the platform it registers to.
- Wall mounting: Add CS-DESKPRO-VESA=, the VESA adapter and wall mount kit. The default shipped set includes only the desk stand.
- Software options: Add LIC-DESKPRO-MS for MultiSite and L-DESK-SERIES-RM for Remote Monitoring. Both are ordered apart from the hardware PID.
- Speaker grille: Choose CS-DESKPRO-FG= for fabric or CS-DESKPRO-MG= for metal. The grille is a replaceable optional component, so a required finish is its own order line.
- Spare contents: CS-DESKPRO-K9= ships the unit and desk stand only; add cables and the power adapter CS-PWR-CUBE-7= as separate lines. A spare order without these lines arrives with no cables or power supply.
