CS-KITPRO-K9 Description
The CS-KITPRO-K9 is a Cisco Room Kit Pro integrator bundle of Codec Pro, Quad Camera and a table-stand Room Navigator for very large boardrooms and custom AV rooms. The Quad Camera merges four 20MP sensors into one 1080p output at up to 60 fps behind an 83-degree wide lens, and the codec adds eight 48V phantom powered microphone inputs, three HDMI outputs and five Ethernet ports. Native Cisco Unified Communications Manager registration needs release 10.5.2 or later with the Room Kit Pro device pack.

Key Features
Each of the eight 48V Euroblock inputs has its own echo canceler and noise reduction and can be set to balanced line level, so ceiling and table microphones attach to the codec directly.
The codec also accepts up to eight Cisco IP microphones over PoE, and connects to third-party audio systems over AES67, so existing wired microphones and IP devices can share one system.
Two Ethernet ports pair the camera directly and two PoE ports serve the Room Navigator and IP peripherals, which keeps that traffic off the single LAN port.
Four 20MP sensors switch into one 1080p output at up to 60 fps. Group framing and speaker tracking come from the fixed array with an 83-degree wide lens and three 50-degree tele-lenses.
Two HDMI outputs at 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps and a third at 30 fps feed three displays from one codec, with six simultaneous video inputs that can be combined on all three outputs.
RoomOS 10.x or later runs native Webex meetings and interoperates with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. The same hardware can also run Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android.
Application Scenarios
A boardroom with ceiling or table microphones wired back to a rack can land those analog runs directly on the codec’s Euroblock inputs, with the Quad Camera covering the table.
A classroom theater or auditorium can drive up to three screens from the codec, while the Quad Camera’s group view and speaker tracking follow the people in the room.
In a custom AV room, the 1.5 RU Codec Pro sits in the equipment rack with its Euroblock connectors, and the camera and Room Navigator mount in the room.

CS-KITPRO-K9 and CS-KITPRO-C-K9 use the same Codec Pro and Room Navigator and differ only in the Quad Camera finish: CS-QUADCAM in First Light against CS-QUADCAM2-C in Carbon Black, each with an 83-degree wide lens and three 50-degree tele-lenses at 5x zoom. A room specified with a dark finish takes CS-KITPRO-C-K9 and gives up no capability. When a presenter position, whiteboard or side wall sits outside what a fixed array frames, CS-KITPRO-PTZ4K-K9 replaces the array with a motorized Cisco PTZ 4K Camera that pans plus or minus 170 degrees from a 70-degree horizontal field of view.
Ordering Checklist
- Device registration: Use Webex registration, or native registration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.5.2 or later with the device pack for Room Kit Pro, or with Cisco Expressway. An older Unified Communications Manager release cannot register the codec natively.
- Quad Camera power and bracket: PSU-12VDC-70W-GR and wall mount bracket BRKT-QCAM2-WMK come in the Quad Camera bundles; the spare power supply is PSU-12VDC-70W-GR=. The adapter and wall bracket ship only in Quad Camera bundles, so a replacement camera ordered alone needs its own.
- Codec Pro mounting: Add rack ears CS-CPRO-RACKEARS= or wall-mount kit CS-CPRO-WMK=. The codec is 1.5 RU and rack-mountable only with the optional rack-mounting solution.
- Power cord: Order the country-specific power cord for the destination. The cord is a country-specific part, so the wrong cord cannot be used in the destination country.
- Table microphones and HDMI cables: Add CS-MIC-ARRAY-T or CS-MIC-TABLE-E for table microphones, and CAB-PRES-2HDMI-GR, CAB-2HDMI-3M-GR or CAB-2HDMI-1.5M-GR for HDMI 2.0 runs. These are optional hardware and are not in the bundle.
