The CS-KITPRO-PTZ4K-K9 is a Cisco Room Kit Pro integrator bundle of Codec Pro, PTZ 4K Camera and a table-stand Room Navigator for large boardrooms and custom AV rooms. The camera pans plus or minus 170 degrees and tilts plus or minus 20 degrees across a 70-degree horizontal field of view with 12x digital zoom, and the codec adds eight 48V phantom powered microphone inputs and three HDMI outputs. The PTZ 4K Camera must run from the FSP040-RHAN3, Phihong POE29U-1AT(PL) or Microsemi PD-9001GR/AT/AC PoE+ supply.

Key Features
Pan across plus or minus 170 degrees and tilt across plus or minus 20 degrees let the camera cover a presenter position, a whiteboard or a side wall that a fixed lens cannot include.
Focus, white balance and brightness can be set manually or left automatic, and Visca over IP control through the LAN port allows a control system to operate the camera.
AI-powered face and upper-body detection lets the camera follow the active presenter within a defined zone, and it can be combined with a Quad Camera for presenter and audience view.
The codec’s eight 48V Euroblock inputs each have a separate echo canceler and noise reduction and can be set to balanced line level for ceiling and table microphones.
Two Ethernet ports handle direct camera pairing and two PoE ports serve the Room Navigator and IP peripherals, separate from the single LAN port.
Two HDMI outputs at 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps and one at 30 fps drive three displays from the codec.
Application Scenarios
In a training room where an instructor moves between a screen and a whiteboard, the motorized camera follows the presenter within a defined zone using PresenterTrack.
A deep conference room combines the PTZ 4K Camera with Cisco IP microphones so that extended speaker view can zoom on a speaker seated beyond 9 meters.
In an AV-integrated room, a control system drives camera movement and presets over Visca over IP on the LAN port, with the Codec Pro mounted in the rack.

CS-KITPRO-PTZ4K-K9 is the Room Kit Pro bundle whose camera moves: the Cisco PTZ 4K Camera pans plus or minus 170 degrees from a 70-degree horizontal field of view with 12x digital zoom, where CS-KITPRO-K9 and CS-KITPRO-C-K9 use the fixed Quad Camera array with an 83-degree wide lens and three 50-degree tele-lenses at 5x zoom. A room with a presenter position, whiteboard or side wall outside a fixed camera’s frame needs the PTZ bundle. A room where everyone sits at the table is covered by CS-KITPRO-K9, or by CS-KITPRO-C-K9 when a Carbon Black finish is specified, and all three bundles share the same Codec Pro and Room Navigator.
Ordering Checklist
- Device registration: Use Webex registration, or native registration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.5.2 or later with the device pack for Room Kit Pro, or with Cisco Expressway. An older Unified Communications Manager release cannot register the codec natively.
- Camera power source: Use FSP040-RHAN3, Phihong POE29U-1AT(PL) or Microsemi PD-9001GR/AT/AC for the PTZ 4K Camera, which is PoE+ (IEEE802.3at) compatible. The camera must be used with these supplies, so an arbitrary PoE+ source is outside the supported list.
- Camera mounting: Order wall bracket CS-PTZ4K-BRKT or ceiling bracket CS-PTZ4K-CLNGMNT. The brackets are separate parts, and the Quad Camera wall bracket does not come with this bundle.
- Codec Pro mounting: Add rack ears CS-CPRO-RACKEARS= or wall-mount kit CS-CPRO-WMK=. The codec is 1.5 RU and rack-mountable only with the optional rack-mounting solution.
- Power cord: Order the country-specific power cord for the destination. The cord is a country-specific part, so the wrong cord cannot be used in the destination country.
