The C1300-24FP-4G is a Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series managed Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ switch for small-office and branch access networks that power phones, cameras and access points. The switch has 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports with a 375W PoE budget, 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, 56.0 Gbps of switching capacity and a single fan. The C1300-24FP-4G is not listed in any C1300 hardware stacking family, so each unit is managed on its own.

Key Features
All 24 ports can supply up to 30W PoE+, drawn from one 375W pool. The pool covers 15W on every port at once, so a closet full of 30W devices is limited by the budget before it runs out of ports.
The uplinks take 1G SFP modules: multimode at up to 550 m, single-mode at 10 km, or a copper SFP for Cat 5e at 100 m. Fiber and copper handoffs can be mixed across the four slots.
The chassis has one fan rated at 39 dBA at 25°C. That level suits an open office or classroom as well as a wiring closet.
IPv4 and IPv6 packets route at wire speed, with RIP v2 and policy-based routing for dynamic and traffic-steered paths. The unit holds up to 990 dynamic and static IPv4 routes across 128 IP interfaces, which covers inter-VLAN routing at a small site.
The switch does not appear in the C1300 stacking Families. Each unit keeps its own address and configuration, managed through the web UI, CLI, SNMP or Cisco Business Dashboard.
Voice VLAN with Voice Services Discovery Protocol places phones in a voice VLAN with QoS treatment. Auto Smartports then applies port roles from CDP or LLDP-MED discovery, which cuts per-port configuration in a phone rollout.
Application Scenarios
In a small office, the switch powers IP phones and wireless access points from its 24 PoE+ ports and carries their traffic to the router or core over Gigabit SFP uplinks.
A retail store can terminate IP cameras and door readers on the PoE+ ports, with the 375W budget shared across all 24 ports and a fiber SFP link running back to the main cabinet.
Schools and libraries can mount the switch outside a formal wiring closet, since the single fan is rated at 39 dBA at 25°C, and power wireless access points from the same ports.

Sites with no powered endpoints can drop to C1300-24T-4G, which keeps the 24-port 1G layout with no PoE output. Where the uplinks must run at 10G, order C1300-24FP-4X, which keeps the 375W budget but moves to 4 x 10G SFP+ and 128.0 Gbps against 56.0 Gbps. That 4X model is also the choice for a closet that must stack, because the C1300 stacking Families list C1300-24FP-4X and do not list C1300-24FP-4G.
