Cisco Nexus N9K-C93108TC-FX3 (Nexus 93108TC-FX3) is a fixed 1RU leaf/ToR switch that brings 48 ports of 100M/1/10GBASE-T and six QSFP28 uplinks at 40/100G to brownfield and greenfield data centers. With 2.16 Tbps switching capacity and 1.2 Bpps forwarding, it delivers wire-rate performance over existing copper cabling while offering flexible 40/100G uplink migration paths. The platform provides MACsec on all ports, 40 MB shared buffers to smooth bursty traffic, dual management (RJ-45 and SFP), and hot-swappable, airflow-selectable PSUs and fans for resilient, serviceable operation in VXLAN EVPN or ACI fabrics.

2.16 Tbps switching, 1.2 Bpps forwarding, and 40 MB shared buffers help absorb fan-in spikes from virtualization, storage, VDI, and backup windows.
POAP for zero-touch bring-up, model-driven telemetry, and open interfaces (NETCONF/REST/OpenConfig) integrate cleanly with Ansible/Terraform pipelines.
Deploy as a VXLAN EVPN leaf under NX-OS or as an ACI leaf for intent-based segmentation, allowing phased brownfield migrations or fast greenfield rollouts.
vPC and ECMP for fast convergence, ISSU/SMU to shrink maintenance windows, plus hot-swap N+1 fans/PSUs and selectable airflow for consistent uptime.
