The N9K-C93360YC-FX2 is a Cisco Nexus 9300-FX2 Series 2RU fixed-port data center switch for high-density 25G server leaf racks. The switch provides 96 1/10/25G SFP28 downlink ports, twelve 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks with 4 x 10/25G breakout on ports 97 to 108, 7.2 Tbps of switching bandwidth, 2.4 bpps of forwarding, and port-side intake or exhaust airflow. Typical power is 404W and maximum power is 900W.

Key Features
Ninety-six 1G, 10G or 25G ports in a single 2RU chassis cover two racks of servers that would otherwise need two 48-port switches.
The twelve 100G uplinks give 1.2 Tbps against 2.4 Tbps of downlink, a 2:1 ratio when all 96 ports run at 25G. Mixed 10G racks sit well under that.
These ports split into 4 x 10/25G, so a QSFP28 port can feed four SFP28-class devices when downlink ports run short.
Supplies come as 1200W AC, 930W DC or 1200W HVAC/HVDC, up to two per switch, with 404W typical and 900W maximum draw. Different supply types should not be mixed.
Airflow is port-side intake or exhaust, and the fan trays and power supplies must face the same direction.
The switch runs in NX-OS mode from NXOS-9.3(1) or in ACI mode from ACI-N9KDK9-14.1.2, so the operating model decides the minimum image.
Application Scenarios
In a row where one rack holds close to a hundred servers, the switch connects up to 96 of them at 25G and sends their traffic to the spine over twelve 40/100G uplinks.
A data center moving server access from 10G to 25G can keep 10G hosts and add 25G hosts on the same 1/10/25G downlinks, without changing the 40/100G path to the spine.
Storage arrays and network appliances with 10G or 25G SFP28 interfaces attach to the downlink ports alongside servers, so one leaf serves a mixed rack.

Racks that terminate 48 or fewer 25G servers can drop to N9K-C93240YC-FX2. Copper servers on 100M/1G/10GBASE-T need N9K-C93216TC-FX2, which keeps 96 downlinks and 12 uplinks at 4.32 Tbps. N9K-C9336C-FX2 matches the 7.2 Tbps in 1RU but offers 36 QSFP28 ports for 40G and 100G instead of SFP28 downlinks, so it is the model when the downlinks are 40/100G.
