The N9K-C93108TC-FX3P is a Cisco Nexus 9300-FX3 Series fixed-port data center switch for multigigabit copper racks that also power endpoints. The switch provides 48 100M/1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T ports with PoE on ports 1 to 48, six 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks, 2.16 Tbps of switching bandwidth, and port-side intake or exhaust airflow. Available PoE runs from 500W on two redundant 1100W supplies to 1920W on two nonredundant 1900W supplies.

Product Performance
Key Features
All 48 ports negotiate 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G and 10G, so devices with 2.5G and 5G interfaces link at their own rate instead of falling back to 1G.
Ports 1 to 48 supply 15W, 30W or 60W per port. PoE is not available when the ports run through a Fabric Extender.
Two nonredundant 1900W supplies give 1920W, enough for 48 ports at 30W or 32 ports at 60W. In redundant mode the budget drops to 1300W on 1900W supplies and to 500W on 1100W supplies, where only 16 ports can run at 30W.
The 1900W supply is offered only in port-side intake. A port-side exhaust build therefore uses 1100W supplies and the matching exhaust fans.
The QSFP28 uplinks are built into the chassis with 2.16 Tbps of switching bandwidth and 1.2 Bpps of forwarding behind them, so no uplink module is needed.
MACsec link encryption is supported across all port speeds, including 1G and 10G on the copper ports.
Application Scenarios
In a data center rack with mixed-speed copper devices, the switch terminates 100M to 10GBASE-T links on its 48 downlink ports and carries their traffic to the spine over 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks.
A data center edge room with powered devices can draw PoE, PoE+ or UPoE from ports 1 to 48, and two nonredundant 1900W supplies give 1920W to share across them.
Server rows cabled through Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders can use the switch as their parent, which supports up to 16 Fabric Extenders.

N9K-C93108TC-FX3P adds 2.5G and 5G Base-T speeds and PoE on all 48 copper ports to N9K-C93108TC-FX3, which stops at 100M/1G/10G with no PoE output. Racks that feed powered devices from the switch need N9K-C93108TC-FX3P, with up to 1920W of PoE on two 1900W supplies and 500W in 1100W redundant mode; a rack with no powered devices can use N9K-C93108TC-FX3, which requires NXOS-10.4.2 against NXOS-9.3.5. Servers on 1/10/25G SFP28 fiber or DAC call for N9K-C93180YC-FX3, and 10M/100M/1G copper with PoE and four SFP28 ports points to N9K-C9348GC-FX3PH at 696 Gbps.

- Power supplies: Select NXA-PAC-1100W-PE or NXA-PAC-1100W-PI at 1100W, or NXA-PAC-1900W-PI at 1900W; the switch takes up to two. The pair sets the PoE budget: 500W redundant or 1600W nonredundant on 1100W supplies, 1300W redundant or 1920W nonredundant on 1900W supplies.
- Airflow direction: Pair fans NXA-FAN-35CFM-PI or NXA-FAN-35CFM-PE with power supplies ending in the same -PI or -PE. The 1900W supply is listed only as port-side intake, so a port-side exhaust build is limited to the 1100W NXA-PAC-1100W-PE.
