48 UPOE multi-gig switch with 2 × 40 Gbps QSFP uplinks, 675 W default PoE, Network Advantage license, and 320 Gbps StackWise-320 stacking.
The Cisco C9300L-48UXG-2Q-A delivers twelve multi-gig UPOE ports (10 G/5 G/2.5 G/1 G/100 M) plus thirty-six 1 G/100 M/10 M UPOE copper ports, all powered by a built-in 1100 W AC supply providing a default 675 W PoE budget. Two fixed 40 Gbps QSFP uplinks enable ultra-high-speed aggregation to distribution or core layers. Running Cisco IOS XE with the Network Advantage license, it supports wire-speed Layer 2 switching, full Layer 3 routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRF-Lite, MPLS, PIM-SM multicast), hardware-based ACLs, and advanced QoS. StackWise-320 technology supplies up to 320 Gbps of stacking bandwidth across up to eight switches, presenting the stack as a single logical device for simplified management. Built-in security features include MACsec-128, 802.1X authentication, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, and TrustSec, enforcing access control and mitigating Layer 2 threats. Ideal for PoE-heavy campus and branch deployments—such as IP surveillance, Wi-Fi 6 AP aggregation, and IoT edge—this model balances multi-gig UPOE power, advanced routing, and resilient stacking.

Network Advantage license (advanced Layer 3: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRF-Lite, MPLS, PIM multicast) 1930_085a98-43> |
Up to 12 ports at 90 W each and 36 ports at 30 W each, with 675 W default PoE (expandable to 1025 W/1390 W/1775 W).
Up to 320 Gbps of stacking bandwidth across eight switches, managed as a single logical unit for high availability and simplified fabric.
Network Advantage license unlocks OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRF-Lite, MPLS, and PIM-SM multicast for campus and edge routing.
Two QSFP uplinks deliver ultra-low-latency fiber aggregation to distribution or core without additional modules.
MACsec-128 encryption, 802.1X, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, and TrustSec enforce device authentication and mitigate Layer 2 threats.
Supports model-driven APIs (RESTCONF, NETCONF, gNMI), on-box Python scripting, App Hosting, and telemetry for DevOps integration.
Power 48 UPOE devices (IP cameras, Wi-Fi 6 APs, digital signage) with 675 W default PoE; aggregate traffic over two 40 Gbps QSFP uplinks.
Serve as the access/aggregation point for IoT sensors and UPOE devices; enforce security (MACsec, 802.1X, TrustSec) and QoS at the edge.
Provide multi-gig UPOE to servers and service appliances; use 40 Gbps QSFP uplinks for low-latency East-West traffic.
