Its perpetual Essentials license concentrates on the Layer 2 duties of a powered industrial edge - REP and Fast REP rings, MRP, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP (CIP), IGMP snooping for camera multicast, L2NAT on downlinks, MACsec-128, and IOx edge compute - while heavy routing and segmentation stay upstream, and the perpetual IE3300-NW-A= license can raise the installed unit to the full Advantage set whenever those duties move down.
