Fixed at four 1G-only SFP uplinks with no 10G path and no modular bay, the C9200L-48T-4G-E is the Network Essentials build of this Catalyst 9200L hardware across 48 non-PoE copper data ports, reaching 104 Gbps standalone switching capacity and 184 Gbps once stacked into a StackWise-80 ring of up to eight members. The Essentials tier already covers Layer 2 switching, static routing, Routed Access with RIP, EIGRP Stub, and OSPF up to 1000 routes, PBR, PVLAN, VRRP, QoS, 802.1X, and MACsec-128, which is enough for a closet that stays within a 1G uplink ceiling and does not need EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, or VRF-lite/VXLAN/LISP segmentation. A single default PWR-C5-125WAC power supply covers normal operation, and because the model carries no PoE budget at either license tier, a second supply only buys redundancy against a unit failure rather than any added power headroom.
