C9300L-24P-4G-A Description
The C9300L-24P-4G-A is a Cisco Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink stackable access switch for wiring closets that power IP phones and access points. The switch has 24 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE+ ports, four fixed 1G SFP uplinks, a 505W default PoE budget on the 715W AC supply and 56 Gbps of switching capacity. The -A suffix carries Network Advantage, and stacking uses StackWise-320 with Catalyst 9300L or 9300LM switches at the same license level.

Key Features
On the default 715W AC supply the switch has 505W for PoE. A second power supply raises the budget to 720W, which covers 30W on all 24 ports.
The four SFP uplinks are built into the chassis and there is no network module slot. Uplink speed is set by the switch rather than by a swappable module.
Up to eight members stack over 320 Gbps links, and Catalyst 9300L and 9300LM switches can mix in one stack at the same license level.
The -A tier adds BGP, VRF, VXLAN, LISP, Cisco TrustSec and MPLS, and lifts the 1,000-route OSPF limit that applies at Network Essentials.
Two internal supply slots take 715W or 1100W AC supplies and a 715W DC supply, so closets fed by DC power are covered.
Standalone, the switch forwards 41.66 Mpps with 56 Gbps of switching capacity. In a stack the figures reach 279.76 Mpps and 376 Gbps.
Application Scenarios
In a branch or campus closet with up to 24 phones, access points or cameras, the switch powers them from its PoE+ ports and hands traffic off over 1G SFP fiber.
A campus that runs VRF, VXLAN or TrustSec segmentation down to the access layer can place the switch there with Network Advantage routing and segmentation features.
When a floor adds PoE+ capacity, the switch joins an existing StackWise-320 stack of Catalyst 9300L or 9300LM switches at the same license level.

C9300L-24P-4G-A and C9300L-24P-4G-E are the same 24-port PoE+ switch with four fixed 1G SFP uplinks and a 505W default budget; the difference is Network Advantage, which adds VXLAN, LISP, Cisco TrustSec, MPLS and OSPF without a route limit over Network Essentials. A site that needs none of these can order C9300L-24P-4G-E, but Cisco lists no Advantage-to-Essentials downgrade, while the reverse path is the C9300L-LIC= upgrade, such as C9300L-24-E-A-3. Uplinks above 1G call for C9300L-24P-4X-A, with four 10G/1G SFP+ ports and 128 Gbps against 56 Gbps. Closets without powered devices can use C9300L-24T-4G-A, which has a 350W supply and no PoE.

Ordering Checklist
- Subscription: Add a 24-port Network Advantage-tier term, Cisco Catalyst or Cisco DNA Advantage for 3, 5 or 7 years. Subscriptions are mandatory on new orders and must match the -A tier of the switch.
- Second power supply: A second supply matching PWR-C1-715WAC-P is selected by default; C9300L-SPS-NONE removes it. Without it the PoE budget stays at 505W instead of 720W.
- Stacking: C9300L-STACK-KIT is selected by default with a 50 cm cable; choose STACK-T3-1M or STACK-T3-3M for longer runs. Fixed-uplink C9300L switches stack with their own kit, not the C9300 STACK-T1 cables.
- Power cords: Select the cord type for the destination country; two cords ship and the default is North America, which may not match the site.
