C9300L-24P-4X-M Description
The C9300L-24P-4X-M is a Cisco Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink stackable access switch for branch and campus closets managed from the Meraki dashboard. The switch has 24 10/100/1000 PoE+ ports, four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks, 128 Gbps of switching capacity and a 505W PoE budget on its default 715W AC supply. The -M suffix selects Meraki cloud management, and a separate Meraki term license is required before the dashboard recognizes the switch.

Product Performance
Key Features
The switch runs in Meraki mode, with configuration, monitoring and remote troubleshooting handled in the cloud dashboard. A Meraki term license of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years is what the dashboard recognizes.
Meraki mode provides Adaptive Policy, which applies group-based segmentation policy across the network without per-switch VLAN and ACL work.
The uplinks are part of the chassis, so no network module is chosen or swapped. Each SFP+ port runs at 10G or drops to 1G for older fiber links.
The default 715W supply provides 505W, about 21W per port across all 24. A second supply lifts the budget to 720W, which covers 30W on every port.
Up to eight switches stack at 320 Gbps. Members must be Catalyst 9300L or 9300LM models on the same license level, which excludes modular-uplink C9300 switches.
Standalone capacity is 128 Gbps and 95.23 Mpps, and a stack reaches 448 Gbps and 333.33 Mpps. The four 10G uplinks fit within that figure.
Application Scenarios
A branch office with no on-site network staff can run the switch from the Meraki dashboard while it powers phones and access points over PoE+.
An organization with many buildings can manage each closet switch from one dashboard and uplink to aggregation over 10G SFP+ fiber.
A site that separates users and devices by group can apply Meraki Adaptive Policy at the access port instead of building VLAN and ACL layouts by hand.

C9300L-24P-4X-M has the same 24 PoE+ ports, 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks and 505W default PoE budget as C9300L-24P-4X-E and C9300L-24P-4X-A, but it is ordered for Meraki Enterprise or Advanced management, with a Meraki term license of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years bought separately so the Meraki dashboard recognises the switch. Sites that manage the switch through Cisco DNA or Catalyst subscriptions of 3, 5 or 7 years order C9300L-24P-4X-E, or C9300L-24P-4X-A for Network Advantage. A closet with no powered endpoints can use C9300L-24T-4X-M, which has the same Meraki options and no PoE.

Ordering Checklist
- Meraki term license: Order a Meraki Enterprise or Advanced term of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years as its own line. The Meraki dashboard does not recognise the switch without the term license.
- Accessories: Select the second power supply, stack kit and power cords separately on Meraki orders. None of them ship by default, so a missing line leaves the switch without redundancy, stack cables or a cord.
