C9300L-24T-4X-M Description
The C9300L-24T-4X-M is a Cisco Catalyst 9300L Series fixed-uplink stackable access switch for Meraki-managed branch and campus closets with data-only endpoints. The switch has 24 Gigabit copper ports, four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks and 128 Gbps of switching capacity, and its 350W AC supply provides no PoE. The -M suffix puts the switch under Meraki Dashboard management with Meraki Advanced or Enterprise software and a Meraki term license of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years.

Product Performance
Key Features
The switch is managed from the Meraki Dashboard and runs Meraki Advanced or Enterprise software in place of Network Essentials or Network Advantage. Licensing follows Meraki terms of 1 to 10 years.
Four SFP+ uplinks are built in and run at 10G or 1G. With no uplink module slot, the uplink count and type stay as shipped.
All 24 copper ports carry data without PoE. Phones, cameras and access points on this switch need their own power source.
Application Scenarios
In a branch office wiring closet, the switch connects desktops, printers and other data-only devices on its 24 Gigabit ports and is managed from the Meraki Dashboard.
A campus building that aggregates its closets at 10G can run the four fixed SFP+ uplinks to the distribution layer without installing an uplink module.
When a closet outgrows 24 ports, a second switch can join over StackWise-320, which raises switching capacity from 128 Gbps to 448 Gbps.

C9300L-24T-4X-M is the Meraki-managed, data-only model of this group: its 24 1G copper ports and four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks match C9300L-24T-4X-A and C9300L-24T-4X-E, which differ only in software, Network Advantage or Network Essentials instead of Meraki Advanced or Enterprise. Sites that run Cisco Catalyst software instead of the Meraki Dashboard should order C9300L-24T-4X-A, or C9300L-24T-4X-E where Essentials is enough. Powered endpoints call for C9300L-24P-4X-M, which keeps Meraki management and adds a 715W default supply with 505W of default available PoE. None of the three alternatives changes the uplinks or the 128 Gbps standalone switching capacity.
Ordering Checklist
- Meraki term license: Order a Meraki term license of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years separately from the -M switch. The Meraki Dashboard does not recognize the switch without a purchased term license.
- Stack kit: Select C9300L-STACK-KIT or C9300L-STACK-KIT2 with a 50 cm, 1 m or 3 m cable as a separate accessory on a Meraki order. Meraki orders add no accessories automatically, so a stack needs the kit and its cable on the order.
